The Walmart One-Thing Trip
Margaret went in for one thing and came out with ten, but at least they were useful.
Bless your heart if you have ever believed you were leaving Walmart with only the thing you came for. I went for parchment paper and somehow found dish towels, storage bins, and a little porch planter calling my name.
I try to stick with useful finds: cleaning refills, pantry helpers, seasonal pieces that do not cost a fortune, and household basics that actually hold up.
A good bargain is only good if you use it. That is the rule I repeat while walking past the holiday aisle.
